Strange noises coming from the basement…the “plinking” sound of hammer meeting small pieces of metal, like the tinker elves from fairy tales. Or one really, really BIG elf.
The lovely and talented Phil has made over a hundred little copper tags for each of the Fobots. They say “FOBOT” and then the number “001, 002″… you get the idea. What a wonderful Christmas present. Since I can’t really sign the bots, now I can glue a little piece of copper on each one’s butt, making it that much more unique.
A note to any Fobot owners out there who bought one of the early bots sans butt-tags: email me at artgirl@nc.rr.com and I’ll send you the tag. Operators are standing by.
I just stumbled across your Fobots…I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CONCEPT!!!
I have no idea how you found me, but I’m so happy you did. I’ll be exhibiting at the Buyer’s Market of American Crafts in two weeks–if you attend that show, I hope you’ll stop buy. And thanks!
